Spencer Apprenticeships are pleased to offer the Teaching Assistant (TA) Level 3 Apprenticeship. We are offering schools this exclusive training opportunity to help grow members of their teams to take the next step in their professional journey. This is a bespoke programme designed by curriculum experts to ensure the CPD needs of schools are met. We are proud of our offer which includes a focus on SEND and literacy with expert facilitators supporting our teaching and learning offer.
This is an 18-month programme with 2 cohort start dates through the year (January and September). This is open to new and existing employees, we also offer support with recruitment.

End Point Assessment:
Practical Observation: An assessor evaluates the apprentice directly within their workplace to observe live classroom learning support.
Professional Discussion: A structured, formal discussion with an independent assessor, guided by the learner’s portfolio and real-world teaching examples.

Our apprenticeship programmes enables schools to employ trainee teachers and apprentices while using apprenticeship funding to cover the cost of training. Apprentices train directly in school, work towards a recognised qualification, and complete their End‑Point Assessment as the final stage of the programme.
