We are excited to launch this level 4, fully-funded 14-month programme designed to equip learners with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to foster continuous improvement in their Schools and Trust Central departments and support our education professionals to lead on improving systems, data, processes, compliance and stakeholder coordination.


Who this programme is for:

This apprenticeship is aimed at a wider group of school and trust professionals who lead improvement through data, process, systems, compliance , and stakeholder management. ​


This apprenticeship is aimed typically at School Business Managers, HR and People, Pastoral and Attendance leads, Finance Teams, Estates and Facilitates Leads, Compliance Health and Safety, Trust Operations Teams and Aspiring Leaders.


Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Suitable for aspiring or Trust or School Operations Leads, Business Leads, and other professionals with responsibility for operational improvement within an educational setting.

  2. Have lived in the UK/EEA for the past 3 years and work mainly in England

  3. Hold an employment contract covering the full programme (17 months)


This programme is fully funded by the Apprenticeship Levy. There are rules that govern eligibility. If you find you do not meet one or more of the eligibility criteria above, please get in touch with the Apprenticeships team at Apprenticeships@harrisinstitute.org.uk.


Participation in this programme is subject to Headteacher approval. In-person training sessions are mandatory in order to gain the qualification.

AI and Digital Tools:

Apprentices also develop an understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools can support data analysis, automate processes, and enhance decision making.
