This apprenticeship is suitable for new or current office, finance or reception staff; this course develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours identified through the apprenticeship in line with your current experience. It typically takes 18 months plus the 12 week End Point Assessment period (EPA). The course is built of work products, observations of practice and a project to undertake in your school.


The TEFAT Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship provides learners with an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working in an office based role.


Programme delivery has been adapted in order to provide a range of online learning opportunities, with maximum interaction and discussion including: weekly Google Hangouts, one on one Tutorials and Mentor support.


End Point Assessment

Learners are assessed through a combination of a professional discussion around a portfolio of evidence, a knowledge based online test and a project presentation on change management. The Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship is a fully funded qualification.


Maths and English

If you are over 19 years old there is no requirement to have Level 2 Maths and English qualifications; however if you would like to complete these alongside your apprenticeship we can offer these - all still free!

    We believe that partnerships can only thrive with collaboration and we want to work with you to up skill your workforce and benefit directly from the apprenticeship levy. We aim to not only train your apprentices in the first instance but to also train assessors within your schools so that even more of the levy can come back into your schools to support your staff and children.


    How TEFLA work with you

    We want to be your partner in using apprenticeships in a way that builds the skills and confidence of your staff in a cost-effective way. We work with you to:


    • identify the apprenticeships most applicable to the development needs and register your staff on the right qualifications

    • induction on a termly basis or we can create a bespoke cohort just for your school or Trust (depending on numbers)

    • build capacity so you can use your staff to be assessor coaches or facilitators - we want you to get the most out of your levy.

    • quality assure delivery, check in regularly to ensure everything is working for you and, ultimately, share the celebrations in the achievement of your people

    The Elliot Foundation Learning Alliance (TEFLA) has been the Learning and Development arm of The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust (TEFAT) since 2016. We have focused on building the capability and capacity of all of our staff across TEFAT at all levels as well as offering numerous joint learning opportunities to other schools and MATs whenever possible.
